My Story
I've been providing counseling services for over 15 years. I have a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Quinnipiac University and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from Southern Connecticut State University. I'm currently a licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Connecticut and I'm also a National Certified Counselor.
I began my training as a group facilitator at The Consultation Center in New Haven, CT and then later provided individual counseling at The Dixwell/Newhallville Clinic in New Haven. For 12 years I was a clinician at Bridges: Young Adult Services located in West Haven CT where I provided individual and family counseling for young men and women ages 18-30. Additionally, I supervised and taught a number of interns from local universities.
In 2021 I decided to work full-time in my private practice in Madison. My experience includes treating Clinical Depression, Anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Substance Abuse, Grief, and poor self-esteem. I use a variety of therapeutic techniques which include Motivational Interviewing, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.
